Domestic farmers are primarily inclined to invest in the repair and maintenance of existing equipment, rather than to buy new or used, this is demonstrated by the result of a study conducted jointly by the Avito.ru platform and Aurora (http://www.aa-p.ru). There is a certain trend towards an increase in the service life of equipment: farmers have begun to handle it more carefully, respectively, the need for spare parts and regular service is growing. According to the Avito platform, in 2024, the demand for spare parts has risen seven times compared to last year, and the supply has increased eleven times. The TOP cities with a record increase in demand for parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with the most developed agricultural sector.

According to analytics collected from Pole, there is a six-fold increase in farmers’ interest in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year. Farmers now give priority to a practical and, of course, simple way to order spare parts via the Internet. Therefore, it is immediately clear who the manufacturer of the parts is, and comprehensive support is guaranteed, from the selection of components to delivery. At the same time, leasing of agricultural machinery is in trend, the demand for which is growing by an order of magnitude from year to year, especially taking into account the support of the state.

Based on information obtained from the Avito.Ru website, since 2023, over 120000 applications for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in Russia have been submitted on the online platform. Of this selection, about 115 thousand applications concerned the sale of new parts. Extremely popular parts in the Russian Federation last year were bodies, platforms, attachments, booths, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The head of the thematic section “Spare Parts” on the Avito portal expresses the opinion that against the backdrop of the course towards import substitution, the agricultural industry is showing rapid growth and feels the growing need for components, equipment, equipment and specialists.

Previously, press releases emphasized the decrease in the supply of combines to the Russian Federation in 2024. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, Russian agricultural enterprises reduced the level of purchases of the main types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain relevant this year.
